PC support

We are a team of 13 people that you are bound to meet from time to time out and about on one of your sites.  

In addition to keeping the existing desktop hardware and software up and running we also manage approximately 1500 new installations each year in new sites or to replace old or broken equipment. The team are all approachable and will be very keen to help and offer support and advice if asked.  However, they will always request that a Help Desk call is raised for any work that they do as the team are exceptionally busy and have to plan their days activities in advance.

We cover the whole of Hampshire with the exception of the South East looked after by our colleagues in IPHIS (Portsmouth).  To support this huge area and number of sites we split the "patch" into 9 different clusters in addition to having three engineers looking after the installations with one of the team providing cover or project support as required.

A few of the services we provide are:

  • Support and maintenance of approved computer hardware and operating system
  • Support and maintenance of core client software
  • Installation of licensed client software
  • INstallation and management of Anti-Malware Software
  • Moving computers from one location to another (excluding those that are moved as part of a project)
  • Upgrading hardware and software
  • Configuration and installation oof new or replacement computers
